RESEARCH PROJECTS
Eytan Lab
I am currently conducting an undergraduate thesis project under Ron Eytan on Scartella cristata. I am testing alternative diets and larvae hatched in the SLF from broodstock I collected in Port Aransas, TX. My findings will hopefully reveal the best diet structure for these fish that could be employed for commercial use in the marine ornamental fish trade.

SLF Projects
In the Sea Life Facility at TAMUG I have assisted on projects under Dr. Ron Eytan, Dr. Jay Rooker, Dr. Duncan MacKenzie, and Dr. Anna Armitage. Tasks on these projects ranged from simple feeding and cleaning to full responsibility of upkeep. The SLF has also hosted Green and Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtles at times through NOAA and I have been responsible for feeding, cleaning, weighing, and measuring those animals.

Shark Biology and Fisheries Science Lab
In the lab of Dr. Dave Wells I have volunteered on three projects on coastal sharks and Red Snapper. I have helped collect samples at the docks and offshore at artificial reef sites, and I have analyzed stomach contents in lab. For the coastal shark stomach collections project I was volunteer of the year in 2015.
